Speedball Relief Inks 150ml

 Speedball's water-based oil inks offer quality pigments, are lightfast, and capture sharp detail on prints. Non-toxic and easy cleanup

These inks print in bold colour and dry to a rich, satin finish.  Great to use instead of acrylics for gelli printing on papers destined for encaustic and cold wax medium techniques.

Unlike acrylics, the surface created by relief inks is more conducive to both encaustic wax and cold wax mediums. It allows for better absorption and adhesion of the wax, preventing peeling or delamination that can occur when wax is applied over a 'plasticy' acrylic surface.

Available in 16 colours and two handy mediums, the Retarder and Extender. The Ink Retarder can be used to slow down drying time, especially in hot weather. The Extender is a clear ink base that will add transparency to colours. These two mediums are only available in the 37ml size.

 All colours carry the AP Seal and clean up easily with soap and water.
