A light blond and transparent shellac. Can be coloured for use with 'wet' and 'dry' shellac burns as an encaustic painting technique.
For encaustic painting technique - Mix roughly 220 - 250 g shellac with 1L methylated spirits in a sealed container. Stir or shake occasionally and let sit for 24 hours. Adjust ratios accordingly for smaller batches. Shelf life in this liquid form is about 3 months.
Keep shellac flakes in a dark container away from sunlight for longevity.
